Hello, I'm Lori Zimmerman, and I've spent my entire life in the Central Texas area. For the past three decades, I've dedicated myself to the field of nursing, gaining invaluable experience and insights into the healthcare landscape of our community. Over the years, I've dreamed of being able to provide exceptional care to the seniors of Hood and surrounding counties, and consequently, I opened Mercy Homes of Granbury.

My unwavering commitment to providing the best care is what sets me apart.  I believe in offering a holistic approach to medicine that ensures our senior community members' ongoing comfort, happiness, and safety.

My journey into Mercy Homes began when I observed that many elderly individuals and their families face uncertainty when it comes to finding the right care as they age. Many do not want to go to a nursing home. This realization led me to the concept of caring for individuals in a home setting when they no longer can live in their own homes. I conduct thorough assessments of each individual's physical and cognitive conditions to pinpoint the ideal care for their needs.

I believe in keeping the elderly active as they age.  The residents can come and go with supervised visits.  The backyard and patio are always open to them.  They can help with gardening, kitchen, laundry, or whatever they wish to do, within their abilities.  We have activities, and games, not just watching tv all day.

If you'd like more information or want to discuss your specific needs, please don't hesitate to contact me at (254) 485-3105 or via email at Lori@mercyhomescare.com.  Let me be your trusted partner in navigating the senior care journey, ensuring that your loved one enjoys the quality of life they deserve!
